The CANchecked Jeep Wrangler JK MFD15 Multi Function Display – 1.5" Gen2 is a compact, configurable digital display designed for Jeep Wrangler JK enthusiasts and tuners who want convenient access to critical engine and vehicle data.
The MFD15 Gen2 combines CAN Bus integration, OBD2 data access, WiFi configuration, expandable sensor inputs, customizable display functions, and configurable alarms in a compact 1.5-inch OLED display.
Its OLED screen provides excellent readability, including in direct sunlight, while the integrated front-facing LED can be configured as a shift light and/or warning indicator.
This application-specific kit includes a vehicle-specific bezel and connection cable for the 2007–2018 Jeep Wrangler JK, with support for both left-hand-drive (LHD) and right-hand-drive (RHD) vehicles.

The display supports a variety of views, including analog pointer and double-value layouts, while users can customize the startup logo and color scheme to personalize the display.
The integrated front LED can be configured as a shift light or warning indicator, providing a clear visual alert when configured parameters are reached.
CAN Bus & OBD2 Data
The MFD15 Gen2 supports communication with compatible CAN Bus ECUs, custom CAN streams, and OBD2 systems.
The availability of CAN Bus and OBD2 data depends on the vehicle's communication architecture, model year, installed control units, and software configuration.
For compatible vehicles, the display can access available engine and vehicle parameters through the vehicle's communication networks.
Additional Sensor Inputs
The MFD15 Gen2 provides up to six analog sensor inputs, allowing additional sensors to be connected directly to the display.
An ethanol sensor can also be connected directly for flex-fuel monitoring. Flex-fuel functionality may require an applicable software license.
The supplied 20cm pre-assembled cables include connections intended for power supply, CAN Bus, analog inputs, 5V supply, and sensor ground.
CAN Switching
The MFD15 Gen2 supports CAN switching functionality, allowing CAN switches to be operated using the buttons on the display.
The system can also forward readings from connected analog inputs onto the CAN Bus, providing additional flexibility for vehicle electronics and custom performance applications.
Alarms & Data Logging
The display supports configurable preset alarms that can be activated and customized according to the user's requirements.

CAN Bus became widely available in production vehicles from approximately 2008 onward, but actual data availability depends on the vehicle manufacturer, model, model year, installed control units, and software version.
Some vehicles provide limited information through standard OBD diagnostics. Dedicated CANchecked integrations may provide access to additional vehicle data where supported.
Available parameters and functions can vary between individual vehicles, including vehicles within the same model range.
