Description
The CANchecked BMC01 Brake Temperature Single Replacement Monitor is a wired, multi-channel infrared temperature sensor designed for precise brake temperature monitoring in demanding automotive, motorsport, racing, and high-performance applications. Designed as a single replacement sensor, the BMC01 is used individually at each vehicle corner as part of a complete four-sensor brake temperature monitoring system.
Unlike wireless brake temperature monitors, the BMC01 uses a direct wired connection for reliable power, signal, and CAN communication. This makes it particularly well suited to motorsport environments where a secure and dependable connection is required for continuous real-time temperature monitoring.
The BMC01 features 16 configurable temperature measurement channels per brake disc sensor and an adjustable refresh rate of up to 64Hz, allowing detailed and responsive brake temperature data to be collected during demanding track and racing conditions.
With a compact aluminum/polyamide housing, IP66 protection, and a wide operating temperature range, the CANchecked BMC01 is built to withstand harsh motorsport environments. Each replacement sensor includes a 0.5m AWG22 cable and matching DTM connector hardware for integration into the vehicle's wired temperature monitoring system.
