Description
The Burger Motorsports JB4 for BMW B58 GEN1 & GEN2 is one of the most advanced plug-and-play performance tuning systems available for turbocharged BMW B58 engines. Designed to deliver significant horsepower and torque gains without ECU flashing, the JB4 safely increases boost, optimizes fueling, and improves ignition timing while maintaining factory safety systems.
On a completely stock B58 engine running pump fuel, the JB4 can deliver gains of up to 120 horsepower and 120 lb-ft torque at the wheels, with even higher gains possible when combined with bolt-on upgrades, ethanol blends, or upgraded turbochargers.
No ECU flash is required, making the JB4 fully compatible with locked ECUs and easy to install or remove at any time.
The system connects directly to engine sensors using a plug-and-play harness, allowing advanced tuning features such as map switching, boost-by-gear, data logging, ethanol tuning, and wireless smartphone control.
The latest JB4 PRO board includes built-in Bluetooth connectivity, advanced fuel pressure control, onboard data logging memory, flex fuel support, and compatibility with port injection or water/methanol injection systems using optional add-on harnesses.

What is JB4?
The JB4 is a piggyback performance tuner that connects between engine sensors and the factory ECU to safely increase boost, optimize timing, and improve fueling without permanently modifying the ECU.
Unlike traditional flash tunes, the JB4 keeps factory protections active while allowing real-time tuning adjustments, map switching, and wireless control.
