Description
The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Rear Doors are designed specifically for the 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS, offering a lightweight motorsport-oriented alternative to the factory rear doors. Combining carbon fiber construction with a premium finish, these doors are engineered to reduce weight while maintaining a high-quality appearance and supporting performance-focused applications.
Each door is carefully handcrafted using high-quality carbon fiber and manufactured with attention to detail. The carbon fiber door shell (A side) is bonded to a fiberglass skeleton (B side), creating a lightweight composite structure designed for performance applications.
The doors are produced using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied to help protect the surface and provide a polished, high-luster finish.
The rear doors include locations for most factory hardware and mount using OE hardware. The approximate weight is 13.1 lbs. per door, compared with approximately 26.5 lbs. for the stock door, providing a significant weight reduction.
