The visible carbon fiber outer section is bonded to a fiberglass skeleton, combining the lightweight characteristics of carbon fiber with a rigid supporting structure.
At approximately 15.1 lbs. per door, these carbon fiber front doors offer a substantial weight reduction compared with the factory door, which weighs approximately 37.5 lbs. This represents a potential reduction of approximately 22.4 lbs. per door, or approximately 44.8 lbs. across both front doors.
