The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Hood Vent is designed for the 2010-2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, providing a lightweight and performance-oriented exterior upgrade with the distinctive appearance of premium carbon fiber. This hood vent combines Anderson Composites' advanced composite manufacturing techniques with a high-quality finish to complement the aggressive styling of the Shelby GT500.

A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied to the carbon fiber surface and polished to create a high-luster finish. This protective coating helps protect the surface from UV exposure while enhancing the depth and clarity of the carbon fiber weave.
Designed as an exterior replacement or upgrade for the Shelby GT500 hood vent, this component can also be used with the Shelby 1000 hood. Installation requires a professional-grade silicone adhesive, which is not included.
