The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Front Upper Grille is a premium exterior upgrade designed for select 2012-2014 Ford Mustang applications, including the 2013-2014 Shelby GT500. Manufactured using advanced carbon fiber production techniques, this grille combines lightweight construction, excellent rigidity, and a high-quality finish to give the Mustang's front end a distinctive performance-inspired appearance.
Anderson Composites has more than 20 years of experience working with carbon fiber and carefully handcrafts its components using premium materials. Each product is manufactured with attention to weave consistency and carbon-to-resin ratio, helping provide excellent stiffness and strength while maintaining the lightweight characteristics of carbon fiber.
The front upper grille is manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. The consistent twill weave creates a premium motorsport-inspired appearance that complements the aggressive styling of the Mustang and Shelby GT500.
A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied to the surface and polished to create a high-luster finish. This protective coating helps protect the carbon fiber from UV exposure while enhancing the depth and clarity of the weave.
This version of the grille is specifically supplied without a Cobra emblem placeholder, providing a clean carbon fiber appearance without a designated mounting provision for the Cobra emblem.
