The Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Front Splitter Wickers are designed for the 2020-2022 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, providing a performance-focused exterior upgrade for compatible GT500 front splitter configurations. Designed as direct replacements for the original splitter wickers, these components combine lightweight carbon fiber construction with Anderson Composites' premium manufacturing standards and distinctive high-luster finish.
Anderson Composites has more than 20 years of experience working with carbon fiber and carefully handcrafts its components using advanced composite manufacturing techniques. Each component is produced with attention to carbon fiber weave consistency, carbon-to-resin ratio, structural strength, and overall finish quality.
The splitter wickers are manufactured using a vacuum-infused process with 3K, 2x2 twill carbon fiber cloth. This construction method helps achieve an excellent carbon-to-resin ratio, resulting in a rigid and strong component while retaining the lightweight characteristics of carbon fiber. The carbon fiber weave provides a motorsport-inspired appearance that complements the aggressive aerodynamic styling of the Shelby GT500.
A marine-grade gel coat with UV inhibitors is applied to the surface and polished to create a high-luster finish. The UV-protective coating helps protect the carbon fiber surface while enhancing the appearance of the weave.
These carbon fiber splitter wickers are direct replacements for the 2020 Shelby GT500 equipped with the Carbon Fiber Track Package (CFTP) or the 2020 GT500 Base Model equipped with the Handling Package. Installation is designed around the reuse of the OEM hardware.
Due to the unique size and curved shape of the component, some natural carbon fiber appearance variations may occur. The carbon fiber cloth may not extend completely to the furthest points of curved edges, and wavy weaves, small bubbles, or variations in the clear finish can occur as an inherent characteristic of the manufacturing process and product shape.
