Utilizing the same Hybrid Forged process as the rest of the series, the HF6-2 is one of Vossen's Hybrid Forged 6-lug designs is manufactured specifically for the truck and SUV market. The wheel is available in tinted gloss black or matte gunmetal, which are offered as standard finishes. The HF6-4 is available in 5 standard transparent finishes and 5 custom finishes, and one of three concave profiles available, such as deep , utra deep, and super deep. The latter ones are designed for extremely aggressive fitments for a wide range of makes and models, including both domestic and import vehicles.
THE FLOW FORMING PROCESS:
Step 1 - A cast wheel is mounted to the flow forming drum and heat is applied.
Step 2 - Hydraulic rollers stretch the wheel by applying pressure to to the barrel.
Step 3 - The wheel’s material is stretched and compressed to achieve the desired width.
Step 4 - Stretching the barrel material improves the grain structure of the aluminum, making a stronger and lighter barrel, similar to a forged wheel.
