Excess crankcase pressure is one of the biggest hidden factors limiting engine performance. By actively evacuating crankcase pressure, this vacuum pump system reduces blow-by, minimizes oil contamination, improves piston ring sealing, and allows the engine to operate more efficiently during demanding racing conditions.
Built around proven GZ Motorsports vacuum pump technology and precision-machined VTT billet mounting hardware, this kit provides a professional solution for high-horsepower S58 and B58TU race builds.

Plumbing Information
- GZ Sportsman 104 vacuum pump utilizes 1/2-inch NPT ports.
- Designed primarily for -12AN plumbing.
- -12AN hose and fittings are recommended for most applications.
- System can also be adapted to -16AN plumbing.
- Both -12AN and -16AN configurations have been successfully tested.
- Hoses and plumbing fittings are sold separately to accommodate different vehicle layouts.
Recommended Supporting Components
For maximum performance, the following components are strongly recommended:
- VTT High Flow -16 Catch Can
- VTT Crankcase Pressure Sensor
- -12AN braided hose
- Additional -12AN fittings as required for your plumbing layout
Catch Can Requirement
A properly sized catch can is required when operating any vacuum pump system.
The catch can must provide sufficient internal volume and venting capacity to support the airflow generated by the vacuum pump. An undersized catch can can restrict airflow, reduce vacuum pump effectiveness, increase oil carryover, and negatively impact performance.
VTT strongly recommends using a high-flow catch can designed specifically for crankcase evacuation systems. Catch cans with ports smaller than -12AN are not recommended for high-powered X58 engine builds, as they can increase gas velocity and oil pickup while limiting ventilation capacity.

Important Information
- Factory air conditioning must be removed before installation.
- The vacuum pump occupies the factory A/C compressor location.
- This kit is not compatible with vehicles retaining factory air conditioning.
