Welcome to the Valvetronic Designs cat-back exhaust system for the F87 M2C platform, the solution to the notorious S55 sound problem. For years, enthusiasts have sought to eliminate the buzzy and raspy sound these cars produce from the factory. As the M2 Competition shares this issue with its bigger sibling, we developed a solution for it. Our mission is to unveil the hidden sound potential and let all F87C owners enjoy it. This full cat-back exhaust system comprises a 2.75" equal length midsection with an H-pipe configuration. After traveling through the H-pipe, the exhaust combines into a 3.5-inch axle-back, smoothing the tones and providing an enjoyable sound throughout the entire rev range.
When the valves are open, the exhaust gases exit unrestricted through the passenger side exhaust tips. With the valves closed, the exhaust passes through our quad-chambered muffler and exits through the driver's side tips for a lower volume, making it ideal for daily driving without attracting unwanted attention. This system mounts to factory points and is a direct bolt-on, making your M2 Competition sound as it always should have.

Traditionally, equal-length configurations lower the aggressive nature of the S55 engine.
