Description
The Unitronic Dogbone Engine Mount Upgrade (Race) for the 2.5TFSI is engineered for maximum performance and drivetrain stability. By eliminating the slop found in factory mounts, it ensures crisp shifts, reduces wheel hop, and withstands the forces experienced during hard launches or track driving.
This race-oriented mount uses red polyurethane bushings specifically designed for high-power and track-focused vehicles. For street use with reduced NVH, Unitronic also offers the mount with yellow "street" bushings.
The mount arm and end caps are precision 5-axis CNC machined from T7075 billet aluminum with a black anodized finish, featuring unique nylon inserts that isolate the mount from the subframe, protect against heat, and simplify installation without subframe disassembly. The polyurethane bushings provide excellent damping, rebound, and durability under high cyclic loads.
Unitronic designs each mount using advanced 3D scanning of the RS3 and TT RS subframe, engine, transmission, and OEM components to ensure perfect fitment and alignment.
