Its open-element design enhances the sound of your turbocharger and diverter valve, giving your Tiguan a more aggressive engine note.
Constructed from high-quality 2/2 twill prepreg carbon fiber with autoclave curing and a UV- and heat-resistant clear coat, this intake system is lightweight, durable, and built to last. Stainless steel hardware and multi-ply silicone components ensure reliability under high engine load, while the proprietary 3-inch dry cotton filter keeps dust and debris out of your engine.
The system features an oversized airbox inlet for increased airflow, smooth flow transition for optimal performance, and airbox water drainage provisions to maintain safety in wet conditions. It installs directly using OEM mounting locations with Unitronic’s proprietary EPDM rubber grommets for a secure and precise fit.

Installation
The Unitronic Carbon Fiber Intake System is designed for easy installation, requiring minimal tools and approximately one hour for removal of the factory intake and installation of the new system. Difficulty rating: 1 (minimal experience required).
