The TTE855 turbocharger builds upon the proven success of the TTE777 by incorporating advanced features, such as a larger billet compressor wheel, CNC porting, and enhanced gas flow optimization. With these innovations, this turbocharger achieves remarkable performance, delivering up to 900 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM and 500 Nm at just 2620 RPM.
This hybrid turbocharger uses a milled aluminum 7+7 blade compressor wheel and a lightweight, high-flow 9-blade turbine. Combined with TTE's motorsport-grade bearing system, the TTE855 offers enhanced durability and reduced exhaust gas backpressure, ensuring exceptional performance and longevity.
To further improve efficiency, the exhaust manifold is CNC ported to match OEM gaskets at the head flange and streamline the exhaust runner transitions. These modifications enable the turbocharger to drive the larger compressor effortlessly, delivering consistent power and reliability.
When ordering new, the TTE855 features Audi's latest thermal heat isolation shielding for improved performance and safety. For upgrades, the process retains the original turbo’s shielding or provides an alternative solution, ensuring optimal thermal management.
