The Performance Breakdown
From the factory, the Ram 1500 TRX is rated at 702 flywheel horsepower, depending on model year. On STILLEN’s dyno, stock testing recorded a maximum of 561 wheel horsepower at 5900 RPM*.
After installing the TruControl by STILLEN Inline Power Module, peak output jumped to 627 wheel horsepower at 6100 RPM, representing gains of over 80 wheel horsepower at the top end. Overall, this equates to an increase of more than 90 flywheel horsepower at 5200 RPM, resulting in nearly 790 peak flywheel horsepower*.
Torque improvements are equally impressive. Stock torque measured 563 ft-lbs at 3750 RPM*. With TruControl installed, torque output increased to 616 ft-lbs at 5000 RPM*, with the largest gains occurring near the upper RPM range—up to +85 ft-lbs at 4600 RPM measured at the wheels.
