The Sparco Prime 60 Black/Yellow is an advanced professional racing suit developed in collaboration with the McLaren Formula 1 team. It is engineered as one of the lightest racing suits homologated to FIA 8856-2018 standards, designed for elite motorsport performance, maximum safety, and superior comfort.
Developed through Sparco’s dedicated R&D laboratories, the Prime suit represents extensive optimization in every construction detail. This includes the use of an ultra-slim zipper system, reduced neck and shoulder padding, thinner thread technology, and flattened stitching to minimize bulk and improve comfort under racing conditions. The suit also features soft seamless Nomex/Vicosa wrist and ankle cuffs for enhanced mobility and reduced pressure points.
The Sparco Prime LT construction utilizes a 3-layer proprietary Sparco technology system. The outer layer is a double-faced mesh made from original DuPont Nomex Comfort using the Kompact system, delivering exceptional heat resistance while maintaining breathability. The fabric composition includes a high percentage of antistatic fibers, providing highly effective antistatic protection alongside ventilation performance suited for long-duration racing environments.
Designed for driving ergonomics, the suit features pre-curved arms and legs to match the natural driving position. An inner thigh stretch panel enhances flexibility and comfort while seated in the cockpit, ensuring unrestricted movement during high-performance driving.
The Sparco Prime is available in 3 colorways and is produced in sizes 48–66 (European sizing). It is fully FIA 8856-2018 approved and also carries SFI 3.2A/5 approval, meeting top-level international motorsport safety standards.
