The Sparco Prime Suit 54 Black/Yellow by Sparco is an ultra-high-performance racing suit developed in collaboration with the McLaren Formula 1 team. It is engineered to be one of the lightest FIA 8856-2018 and SFI 3.2A/5 approved racing suits in the world, designed for maximum performance, safety, and driver comfort.
Developed in Sparco’s advanced R&D laboratories, the Sparco Prime suit focuses on optimizing every construction detail. It features an ultra-slim lightweight zipper, reduced neck and shoulder padding, flattened stitching, and soft seamless Nomex/Vicosa wrist and ankle cuffs to minimize pressure points and enhance comfort during driving.
The Sparco Prime Suit uses a proprietary 3-layer construction. The outer layer is a double-faced mesh made from original DuPont Nomex Comfort fibers using the Kompact system. This structure includes a high percentage of antistatic fibers, delivering strong antistatic performance alongside excellent breathability and fire protection.
Designed for high-performance driving conditions, the suit includes pre-curved arms and legs to support the natural racing position, along with an inner thigh stretch panel for improved mobility and comfort during long sessions.
The Sparco Prime Suit is FIA 8856-2018 and SFI 3.2A/5 approved and represents Sparco’s highest level of motorsport suit technology. It is available in sizes 48–66.
