Safety & Maintenance Information
The Simpson Speedway Shark is a precision-engineered safety instrument. To maintain its protective integrity, the Snell Foundation recommends replacing your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as the internal EPS liner can harden and lose its shock-absorbing properties. To preserve the white finish, clean the shell with mild soap and water only; avoid chemical solvents that can degrade the composite structure. Always ensure your chin strap is properly tensioned and the shield is fully latched before every session.
