Fitment & Maintenance Information
To ensure maximum safety, the Simpson Bandit must fit snugly; a properly sized X-Small helmet should not rotate or slide when the chin strap is secured. The Snell Foundation recommends replacing your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as protective materials can degrade over time and may no longer meet the evolving safety requirements of sanctioned events.
To maintain the Gloss White finish and the integrity of the shell, clean the helmet using only mild soap and water with a soft microfiber cloth. Avoid the use of harsh chemicals or petroleum-based solvents, which can damage the impact-absorbing liner or the composite shell. Always store your helmet in a cool, dry environment, preferably in a protective helmet bag, to ensure the longevity of your safety equipment.
