Description
The Simpson Bandit SA2020 Racing Helmet is the definitive evolution of a motorsport legend. Combining an unmistakable, aggressive silhouette with decades of safety and aerodynamic refinements, the Bandit remains the flagship choice for drivers across nearly every racing discipline. This White, Medium model offers a precision fit and a professional aesthetic, ensuring you stay protected while maintaining the iconic look that has dominated tracks for generations.
Safety engineering is at the core of the SA2020 Bandit. This model is built to meet the rigorous Snell SA2020 standards, which have been updated to align more closely with the FIA 8859 Helmet Standard. These improvements include enhanced impact testing—specifically a 5-10% increase in velocity for second-hit impacts across all shell sizes—ensuring that the Bandit provides superior energy management when it matters most.

Fitment & Maintenance Information
A secure, proper fit is essential for the helmet's protective performance. The Medium Bandit should fit snugly against the cheeks and forehead without uncomfortable pressure points; the helmet should not rotate when the chin strap is securely fastened. Following Snell Foundation recommendations, racing helmets should be replaced every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as the internal protective materials can degrade over time.
To maintain the high-gloss White finish and the integrity of the shell, clean the helmet using only a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid the use of harsh chemicals, waxes, or petroleum-based solvents, as these can compromise the impact-absorbing liner or the composite shell. Always store your helmet in a cool, dry place inside a protective bag between race weekends.
