Fitment & Maintenance Information
A precise, secure fit is critical for the effectiveness of your safety equipment. The Medium Super Bandit should fit snugly against the forehead and cheeks; it should not rotate or shift on your head when the chin strap is properly fastened. According to Snell Foundation guidelines, it is recommended to replace your racing helmet every five (5) years from the date of manufacture, as internal protective materials can degrade over time.
To maintain the shell’s integrity and high-gloss finish, clean the helmet using only a soft microfiber cloth and mild soap and water. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these can compromise the impact-absorbing liner or the composite shell. Always store your helmet in a cool, dry place inside a protective bag between events to ensure it remains in peak competition condition.
