The Simpson Racing Latch FX2 5-Point Harness – 2” Bolt-In – SFI 16.1 – Black is a lightweight motorsport restraint system designed to deliver secure driver containment, simplified adjustment, and improved compatibility with modern racing safety equipment. Manufactured by Simpson Racing, the Latch FX2 combines compact design with race-proven durability for competitive motorsport applications.
SFI 16.1 certified, this 5-point harness is engineered to maintain proper driver positioning under hard braking, acceleration, and cornering loads while meeting sanctioned racing safety requirements.
The FX2 system features an integrated latch, link, and adjuster assembly that reduces hardware bulk and creates a cleaner, more compact buckle package. Integrated flip-up adjusters simplify lap belt tightening while helping save space within the cockpit. An oversized, color-contrasted release mechanism improves visibility and allows quick driver exit in emergency situations.
This configuration uses lightweight 2-inch polyester webbing throughout the harness system, reducing bulk while improving comfort and compatibility with HANS, Hybrid, and other frontal head restraint devices. The harness can be installed using the included bolt-in brackets or wrapped around approved roll cage mounting points depending on vehicle setup requirements.
Each mounting point includes three-bar slides and hardware designed for compatibility with a wide range of chassis and roll cage configurations, making the Latch FX2 suitable for multiple racing disciplines.
