The Simpson Racing Latch & Link Lap Wrap-Around 5-Point Harness – 55” Pull-Down – Red (L&L 55” LAP WA 5PT PD HN) is a motorsport-grade safety restraint system designed for secure driver containment, durability, and consistent performance in racing environments. Manufactured by Simpson Racing, this harness utilizes a proven latch & link buckle system engineered for reliable engagement and fast release under competitive conditions.
This 5-point configuration provides full upper and lower body restraint to help maintain proper driver positioning under high lateral forces, braking loads, and acceleration stress. The pull-down lap adjustment system allows precise tightening of the lap belt for a secure, race-ready fit while seated.
The wrap-around design allows flexible installation to approved chassis or roll cage mounting points without requiring fixed bolt-in lap belt anchors, making it suitable for a wide variety of race car setups.
Constructed with 3-inch military specification webbing, the system is engineered for high tensile strength, controlled elongation, and durability under repeated motorsport use. Heat-cut and sealed webbing ends help reduce fraying and extend service life.
