This updated fuel tank is a direct, bolt-on replacement for the factory 31-gallon fuel tank, adding 25 gallons of additional diesel capacity to help reduce fuel stops and extend driving range.
With nearly double the capacity of the original tank, this S&B fuel tank can help you travel over 1,000 miles between fill-ups under suitable driving conditions, compared with approximately 600 miles with the stock tank. Its optimized design makes use of previously unused space beneath the truck to provide additional fuel capacity without requiring a larger external tank.

Important Notes

The factory fuel gauge will continue to function; however, the distance-to-empty reading will not be accurate because the vehicle's system cannot be updated to reflect the increased tank capacity.

The OEM fuel sending unit and float must be reused. Because the S&B tank is taller than the factory tank, the fuel gauge will remain on full for approximately the first 8–10 gallons consumed.

This updated tank replaces the previous S&B part number 10-1007, which fit 2013–2024 Ram Crew Cab Long Bed trucks equipped with a two-piece driveline.

Using an auxiliary fuel tank with the S&B tank will void the S&B Lifetime Warranty.
