Important Notes
- The fuel gauge will function normally; however, the distance-to-empty reading will not be accurate and cannot be recalibrated for the larger tank size.
- OEM sending unit and float are reused. Due to the increased tank height, the fuel gauge may remain on “full” for the first 8–10 gallons consumed.
- Use with auxiliary fuel tanks will void the manufacturer’s lifetime warranty.
