Installation Information
RW Carbon SQ Style Carbon Fiber Side Skirt Extensions are designed for a straightforward installation by attaching underneath the factory rocker panels using the supplied hardware and 3M tape for additional support.
Before installation, thoroughly clean the underside of the factory side skirts to ensure proper adhesion. Most installations can be completed in approximately one hour depending on experience and preparation. For the best possible fit and finish, professional installation is recommended.
If your vehicle has a ceramic coating, additional preparation is required before installation. The ceramic coating must be removed from the areas where the 3M tape will adhere. Mark the installation area with masking tape and carefully hand polish the surface using a rubbing compound. Multiple applications may be required to properly prepare the surface for adhesion.
