Safety & Maintenance Information
The RaceQuip Youth SFI 3.3 base layer pants are intended to be worn as part of a complete safety system. When combined with an SFI-rated suit, they significantly increase the time a driver has to exit a vehicle in the event of a fire. To preserve the fire-retardant properties of the garment, do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or starch during the wash cycle. Machine wash with a mild detergent and tumble dry on low or air dry. Always inspect the pants for any holes, tears, or thinning material before each competition to ensure the thermal barrier remains intact.
