The RaceQuip 111 Series Single Layer Fire Suit Jacket is a high-performance motorsport driving jacket designed for comfort, durability, and SFI-1 rated fire-retardant protection. Constructed from Pyrovatex® FRC material, this jacket combines lightweight breathability with effective flame and heat resistance while maintaining a soft, cotton-like feel against the skin.
This material is commonly referred to as “fireproof,” however all motorsport safety apparel is fire retardant rather than fireproof. The Pyrovatex® treatment bonds with cotton fibers at a molecular level, helping the jacket retain its protective properties over time when properly cared for.
The RaceQuip 111 Series jacket meets SFI 3.2A/1 standards and provides a TPP Rating of 11, delivering reliable thermal protection for racing environments. It is engineered for long-term wear with comfort-focused construction that allows moisture wicking and reduced skin irritation, making it suitable for extended use in competitive motorsport conditions.
Durability is enhanced through heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching, ensuring strong seam integrity under demanding use. The front closure features a high-quality heavy-duty Nomex® backed brass zipper with a double overlap design for improved security and coverage.
The design includes a stylish modern racing aesthetic with contrasting black epaulets, a high back collar, and black armband stripes that match RaceQuip driving pants leg stripe styling. A pleated back panel is incorporated to improve flexibility and range of motion while seated in a racing position.
