The RaceQuip 120 Series One Piece Multi Layer Fire Suit is engineered for drivers who require maximum fire protection, durability, and comfort in demanding motorsport environments. Featuring a multi-layer construction system, this suit delivers advanced thermal resistance while maintaining breathability and flexibility for extended racing use.
This suit meets and exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 standards and is classified as an SFI-5 certified racing garment. With a TPP Rating of 25, it provides a high level of protection against heat and flame exposure, making it suitable for professional and competitive racing applications.
The suit is constructed using a triple-layer system designed for optimal safety and comfort. The outer layer is made from durable Pyrovatex® FRC, offering a smooth, slightly shiny finish with strong flame resistance and moisture-wicking performance. The middle layer consists of Nomex® batting, an inherently fire-retardant aramid fiber that enhances insulation and heat protection. The inner liner is also made from soft Pyrovatex® FRC, ensuring comfort against the skin and breathability during extended use.
Pyrovatex® FRC is a cotton-based fire-retardant material known for its softness, flexibility, and moisture management. It is gentle on the skin and helps reduce irritation during long racing sessions. The treatment process bonds at a molecular level with the cotton fibers, helping preserve its protective properties over time with proper care. As with all motorsport safety equipment, this suit is fire retardant rather than fireproof.
The suit is assembled using heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching to ensure exceptional seam strength and long-term durability. A high-quality heavy-duty two-way YKK brass zipper built on FR tape is installed with a double overlap closure for a secure and protective front opening.
