The RaceQuip 121 Series Multi Layer Fire Suit Jacket is an SFI-5 certified racing jacket engineered for drivers who demand high levels of fire protection, durability, and comfort. Designed for competitive motorsports, this jacket features a multi-layer construction that delivers enhanced thermal protection while maintaining flexibility and breathability.
The jacket is constructed with a three-layer system consisting of a durable Pyrovatex® FRC outer layer, a Nomex® middle layer, and a soft Pyrovatex® FRC inner lining. This layered configuration provides an optimal balance of flame resistance, heat protection, and long-term wear comfort. The Pyrovatex® material retains the softness and breathability of cotton while effectively wicking moisture away from the skin.
The Nomex® middle layer is an inherently fire-retardant aramid material that enhances thermal insulation and protection under extreme conditions. The Pyrovatex® treatment bonds at the molecular level with the cotton fibers, ensuring long-lasting flame-retardant performance when properly maintained.
All seams are constructed using heavy-duty multi-needle over-lock safety stitching to provide superior strength and durability in demanding racing environments. The jacket features a TPP rating of 25 and meets SFI 3.2A/5 safety standards.
