The RaceQuip 121 Series Multi Layer Fire Suit Jacket is engineered for drivers who require high-level fire protection, durability, and comfort in competitive motorsport environments. Built with a multi-layer construction system, this jacket delivers enhanced thermal resistance while maintaining breathability and flexibility for extended use.
This jacket meets and exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 standards and is classified as an SFI-5 certified racing garment. With a TPP Rating of 25, it provides significantly higher protection against heat and flame exposure compared to single-layer racing jackets.
The jacket features a triple-layer construction system designed for maximum safety and comfort. The outer layer is made from durable Pyrovatex® FRC, providing a smooth, slightly shiny finish along with excellent flame resistance and moisture-wicking performance. The middle layer consists of Nomex® batting, an inherently fire-retardant aramid fiber that enhances thermal insulation and protection. The inner liner is constructed from soft Pyrovatex® FRC, ensuring comfort against the skin and breathability during extended use.
Pyrovatex® FRC is widely used in motorsport safety apparel due to its ability to retain softness, flexibility, and comfort while delivering reliable fire-retardant performance.
