This kit is the first and most complete turbo discharge solution for the MQB/MK7 platform, offering a full 2.5" (63.5mm) inner diameter flow path compared to the restrictive factory plastic pipe. While other companies offer muffler deletes or pressure pipes that still bottleneck airflow at around 1.5"-1.6" ID, Neuspeed’s kit nearly doubles the flow capacity, from 302 CFM stock to 500 CFM with the upgrade, dramatically improving turbocharger efficiency.
The kit includes a precision-machined billet 6061 aluminum turbo discharge adapter that replaces the muffler and smooths the airflow exiting the turbo. This adapter feeds into a high-quality 2.5" ID, 4-ply silicone hose, connected to a mandrel-bent, one-piece aluminum discharge pipe that uses factory rubber mounts with rolled lips for secure hose attachment, all secured with robust "T" bolt clamps.
