Unlike factory-style intercoolers that are mounted between the radiator and A/C condenser—where they're subject to radiant heat and airflow restriction—this Neuspeed FMIC positions the intercooler directly in front of both, taking full advantage of unobstructed ambient airflow. The result is significantly lower intake air temperatures and improved performance consistency.

The intercooler utilizes cast aluminum end-tanks and a bar-and-plate core design that fills the lower bumper opening for maximum cooling surface area. This kit is designed to be a true bolt-on upgrade requiring no cutting or trimming of the bumper structure or bumper cover for North American vehicles.

For maximum system efficiency, this FMIC is also compatible with Neuspeed’s Factory Intercooler Delete Kit (sold separately), discharge pipe, and air charge pipe—creating a complete high-flow forced induction setup.
