Take control of your BMW’s oil temperatures with the Mosselman Oil Thermostat S55, a precision-engineered upgrade designed to solve one of the S55 engine’s most common problems — excessive oil temperature.
The factory thermostat typically allows oil to reach 120°C during normal driving. The Mosselman Thermostat opens much earlier, at 85°C, keeping oil temperatures stable between 95°C and 105°C, depending on driving conditions. This results in more consistent performance and, most importantly, greater engine reliability, particularly for tuned or high-performance cars.
Available in Blue, Red, or Black, the Mosselman Oil Thermostat combines functionality with style and is also available for N54 and N55 engines.
