The Stage 2 calibration delivers substantial horsepower and torque gains by optimizing boost pressure, ignition timing, torque management, and fueling strategies. Power delivery is refined throughout the entire RPM range, eliminating factory power dips while providing stronger acceleration, improved throttle response, and enhanced driving dynamics.
A valid MG Flasher License is required to flash any OTS or Custom Map.
Important Hardware Requirement
Stage 2 calibrations must only be used with:
- High-flow downpipes
- High-flow catalytic converters
Transmission tuning is recommended to achieve the best possible performance and torque management.
ECU Unlock Information
- ECUs manufactured in July 2020 and newer are supported with a bench unlock provided by Femto or AutoTuner.
- The ECU must be shipped to the unlock provider or unlocked by a qualified third-party tuner using appropriate bench tools.
- Recent BMW software updates may require a Bench OBD Unlock before flashing.
- Authorized MG Flasher dealers can perform ECU unlocking services.
- Additional third-party bench unlock fees may apply.
