Description
The MG Flasher License for the S63TU4 platform is required to unlock full ECU flashing capabilities for compatible BMW vehicles equipped with MG1 ECUs. This license serves as the foundation of the MG Flasher ecosystem, providing access to ECU flashing, diagnostics, custom tuning support, and advanced calibration features.
This license does not include OTS maps, which are sold separately. Once activated, the license is VIN-locked to a single vehicle and allows unlimited flashing of that vehicle while providing access to available MG Flasher features and future software updates at no additional cost.
ECU Unlock Information
- ECUs manufactured in July 2020 and newer are supported with a bench unlock provided by Femto or AutoTuner.
- The ECU must be sent to the unlock provider or unlocked by a qualified third-party tuner using appropriate bench tools.
- Recent BMW software updates may require a Bench OBD Unlock before flashing.
- Authorized MG Flasher dealers can perform ECU unlock services.
- Additional fees may apply for third-party bench unlocking services.
