This proven design now features six custom self-aligning closed-top acorn nuts for superior thread engagement and clamping force.
Engineered to prevent the well-known “mushrooming” issue that plagues Gen 1 MINIs, the M7 SRP Kit distributes suspension loads across the entire strut tower surface. Potholes, low-profile tires, coilovers, and harsh road impacts can push the shock towers upward by as much as ½" (13 mm), causing alignment problems and steering pull. The SRP Kit creates a strong composite top surface that resists deformation—an inexpensive preventive upgrade compared to costly body shop repairs.
