The Koni Sport product line, known for its exceptional performance, is designed to meet the needs of demanding drivers. This rear shock absorber is tailored for the BMW E87 1 Series, particularly the 128i and 135i Coupes. The Koni Sport shocks are engineered to provide superior road holding and handling, without compromising on ride comfort. They are also compatible with lowering springs, allowing for a drop of up to 35mm.
One of the standout features of many Koni Sport dampers is their external adjustability, accessible via an adjustment knob at the top of the damper. This feature allows for easy fine-tuning of rebound forces without removing the damper from the vehicle, letting you customize your driving experience. For dampers that aren't externally adjustable, adjustments can still be made, but the damper will need to be removed.
If you choose to pair these dampers with lowering springs, it's important to ensure that the vehicle is not lowered beyond 35mm, and that bump stops are re-fitted to prevent any damage to the valving.
