The Porsche 992 GT3 represents the latest evolution of Porsche’s track-focused 911 lineup. Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six boxer engine producing 503 horsepower at 8,400 RPM, and built on a new aluminum and steel chassis, the 992 GT3 is a true motorsport-bred supercar. While the factory exhaust meets modern sound and emissions regulations, it limits the full acoustic potential of the engine.
Kline Innovation Carbon Fiber Exhaust Tips are designed to complement high-performance exhaust configurations while enhancing the aggressive motorsport appearance of the Porsche 992 GT3. These tips complete the system visually, pairing perfectly with Kline’s exhaust components and delivering a refined yet race-inspired finish.
One of the primary sound restrictions in the factory exhaust system comes from the 600 CPSI catalytic converters and OPF filter. Removing these components and replacing them with HJS high-flow race catalysts or Kline’s long-tube decat headers significantly opens up exhaust flow and sound. Exhaust gases then pass through the silencer section, which features two distinct flow paths depending on valve position.
With the exhaust valves open, gases flow freely for maximum sound output. With the valves closed, gases are routed through a harmonically tuned silencer designed to eliminate unwanted cruising drone. The addition of Kline’s signature tight-radius X-pipe raises the exhaust pitch into a sharp, aggressive tone without restricting exhaust flow.
Kline Innovation utilizes Inconel 625 in key exhaust components, a material known for its strength, heat resistance, and unique acoustic properties. Its thin sidewall construction allows the system to resonate naturally, producing a higher-pitched and more intense exhaust note at high RPM. The headers and silencer section are engineered to work together for optimal performance, sound, and reliability.
The Kline system and header options are available in two configurations. A 100 CPSI catalytic setup delivers gains of up to 25 horsepower and 32 Nm of torque. Long-tube decat headers provide even greater performance, with gains of up to 31 horsepower and 38 Nm of torque. These carbon fiber exhaust tips are the final visual touch to a complete Kline exhaust solution.
