The K&N NextGen Diesel Dryflow Cold Air Intake features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally molded intake tube designed to increase airflow volume to the engine while maintaining durability in demanding diesel applications. The system includes an oversized conical Dryflow® Lifetime Air Filter™ featuring washable, reusable, oil-free synthetic media for excellent filtration performance and easy maintenance.
The oversized Dryflow filter design allows service intervals of up to 50,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. When cleaning is required, the filter uses a simple two-step oil-free cleaning process, eliminating the need for filter oil and making maintenance faster and more convenient.
The included NextGen hybrid airbox helps protect the intake system from high engine bay temperatures while improving airflow efficiency. Its semi-enclosed design features an enlarged fresh air inlet to provide cooler intake temperatures and better protection against harsh diesel operating environments. The complete intake system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes using the included hardware.
