The IPD Competition 82mm Intake Plenum for the Porsche 987.2 Boxster is a premium airflow upgrade engineered to maximize performance on Porsche’s Direct Fuel Injection (DFI) platform, including Base 2.9L and S 3.4L models from 2009–2012. Porsche’s DFI intake system was completely redesigned to improve performance, fuel economy, and emissions by optimizing the air-fuel mixture directly inside the combustion chamber.
While the DFI engine is a finely tuned performance system, additional power gains are difficult to achieve through conventional modifications. 82mm Competition Throttle Body Upgrade:
