Technical Highlights
High-Flow Capability
IE’s HPFP internals expand the fuel pump’s output to support demanding fueling needs. By increasing the piston bore and maintaining a consistent diameter, this upgrade ensures stable, high-flow performance throughout the RPM range. Capable of fueling up to 600 horsepower, it’s ideal for users maxing out the factory turbo or running aggressive turbo conversions.
Constant-Diameter Design
Unlike stepped piston designs, which reduce contact surface and increase seal wear, IE's constant-diameter piston maintains structural integrity and stroke stability. This also eliminates pressure pulsation that can lead to seal degradation and fuel leakage.
Nitrided Components
The nitriding process hardens the piston and cylinder surfaces by infusing nitrogen atoms into their atomic structure—dramatically improving wear resistance and longevity. Each batch is independently lab-verified to ensure quality and consistency.
Titanium Retainer & OE Spring Compatibility
The FEA-optimized titanium retainer reduces weight and prevents valve float. IE retains the factory spring to reduce cam follower wear, avoiding the unnecessary pressure of stiff aftermarket springs.
Custom High-Performance Seal
IE’s molybdenum disulphide-impregnated seal offers low friction and high stiffness. The spring-energized design maintains sealing pressure over time, eliminating fuel seepage and long-term reliability issues.
