Performance Testing
Independent dyno testing was performed on an E92 M3 equipped with Primary DeCAT.
Testing demonstrated a realistic and repeatable peak gain of approximately 20 hp at 8500 RPM, along with a 20 lb-ft torque gain at 6250 RPM. A peak gain of approximately 20 hp was also measured at 6000 RPM.
Power gains are achieved throughout the RPM range and are accompanied by sharper throttle response and smoother overall power delivery.
ECU Calibration
The Infinity Design ECU tune modifies the engine calibration to optimize the BMW S65 engine's performance. Calibration changes include adjustments to:
- Ignition maps
- Fuel maps
- Torque maps
- VANOS maps
These changes are designed to improve power delivery and throttle response throughout the engine's operating range.

Tuning Process
The Infinity Design E92 M3 ECU Tune is supplied remotely and includes the required OBDII cable and software. This allows the calibration to be installed directly through the vehicle's OBDII connection.
