Porsche GT3 owners are well aware of the common issues with OEM mufflers, particularly the tendency to crack, break, and blow out, especially in GT3 RS models with titanium mufflers. Fabspeed Motorsport has addressed these issues with a superior replacement muffler that not only resolves these problems but also enhances the OEM design. With over 25 years of expertise in both air and water-cooled engines, our design features valve open tubing expanded to 2.75 inches (70mm) to optimize low restriction, maintain high velocity, and deliver the iconic high-pitched GT3 CUP car sound.
Precision Engineering and Superior Construction: Our advanced design process began with 3D scanning of the OEM muffler, ensuring a perfect bolt-on fitment. The integration of our signature investment cast X-Pipe ensures optimal exhaust scavenging by merging the two cylinder banks without any flow restriction. By mimicking Porsche’s seven-chamber design, our muffler maintains the factory exhaust note and is entirely drone-free, even with catless race headers.
Signature Sound: This high-performance muffler delivers a tone similar to the OEM muffler but with increased loudness when the Porsche Sport Exhaust (PSE) is activated. Thanks to our proprietary X-Pipe design, the sound is smoother and higher-pitched, enhancing the overall exhaust note.
Impressive Performance Gains: On our 991.1 GT3 RS test car, paired with our Side Muffler Bypass Pipes, the Rennsport Muffler achieves an impressive 27 ft/lbs of torque at 3,200 RPM. Between 2,900 and 5,700 RPM, it consistently gains 10 wheel horsepower (WHP) or more, with peak WHP increasing from 446 to 454—an overall gain of 8 WHP or 9 horsepower at the crank.
