Achieve maximum power from the Porsche Boxster engine without sacrificing drivability or reliability by optimizing the engine's performance. Fabspeed Motorsport offers an alternative tuning method for vehicles equipped with ECUs that traditionally required bench flashing. No longer do you need to remove your ECU and mail it in for a tune. The Handheld device interfaces with the OBD-II port on your vehicle and your computer to complete the tuning process. Simply flash your 986 Boxster with a Fabspeed ECU Tune utilizing the included handheld tuner. The performance ECU software upgrade improves horsepower, torque, and driving characteristics by reprogramming various sensor inputs, air/fuel ratios, and boost pressure (if applicable).

Tuning Process:

1. Read Stock Data: Connect the Handheld device to your vehicle via the OBD-II port and read the stock data.
2. Interface with Software: Connect the Handheld to your PC/Windows computer (Mac OS not supported) and send the data to Fabspeed Motorsport via email at tuning@fabspeed.com.
3. Receive Custom Tune: Fabspeed uses your data and vehicle information to create a custom tune. The tune is emailed back to you within 1-2 business days.
4. Flash ECU Tune: Write the Fabspeed ECU Tune to your Handheld, then to the vehicle using the Handheld device.
5. Return to Stock Anytime: Easily revert to the stock tune using the Handheld device and reflash to the Fabspeed ECU Tune as needed.

• Review Tuning Guide: Please review our Tuning Guide in the instructions above and email the ECU Tuning Information form to us. This ensures we meet your needs and consider your modifications to deliver the best possible results.
• PC/Windows Required: You must have access to a PC/Windows computer to upload your factory file information and apply our ECU Tune to your Handheld device.
• Custom Tune: Our tuner will email you a custom ECU Tune within 1-2 business days upon receiving your vehicle information.
• Device Compatibility: The Handheld device "marries" with your vehicle and can only be used on one vehicle.
• Special Requests: Special requests and tune file upgrades may be subject to additional fees.
