The Evolution Racewerks Sports Series High Flow Catted Primary Downpipes are engineered to dramatically improve exhaust flow and performance on the 2025+ BMW M5 G90 equipped with the twin-turbo S68 engine. These downpipes replace the restrictive factory primary catalytic converters with high-flow 200-cell metallic cores that support greater horsepower, faster turbo response, and reduced backpressure while maintaining catalytic functionality.
Built in-house in the USA from 304 stainless steel, these downpipes utilize mandrel-bent 3-inch tubing and precision CNC-machined 3.5-inch V-band turbo flanges for a perfect OEM-style fit. The high-flow metallic catalyst withstands higher temperatures than ceramic factory units and offers significantly improved durability, flow capacity, and spool characteristics.

All O2 bungs, brackets, and mounting points are CNC-machined or laser cut and TIG welded for long-term durability. The O2 sensors mount in the factory locations. Installation is fully bolt-on.
Downpipes come standard with a brushed stainless finish.
Primary Downpipe Specifics
The BMW G90 M5 features two primary catalytic converters and two secondary converters (four total). These Sports Series High Flow Catted Primary Downpipes replace only the primary catalytic converters. They are fully compatible with both the factory secondary downpipes and aftermarket secondary sections.
Ceramic Thermal Coating Option
The optional ceramic thermal coating helps contain exhaust heat inside the downpipe, reducing underhood temperatures and heat soak to surrounding components. Additional benefits include:
