Upgrade your BMW N55 E-Chassis with the Evolution Racewerks Charge Pipe Kit, designed to replace the factory plastic and rubber diverter valve pipe that is prone to cracking and failure under increased boost pressure. Engineered for improved reliability and performance, this high-flow aluminum charge pipe upgrade enhances throttle response, reduces turbo lag, and provides a stronger solution for both street and performance applications.
Constructed from lightweight 6061 aluminum, the Evolution Racewerks N55 Charge Pipe features smooth mandrel-bent piping designed to maximize airflow while maintaining durability under high boost conditions. The 3-inch diameter piping is matched to the factory throttle body opening to provide improved airflow capacity compared to the restrictive OEM design.
The precision CNC-machined throttle body flange uses a factory-style o-ring locking connection, creating a secure and leak-free seal while offering a more reliable solution than traditional silicone coupler-style charge pipes. A CNC-machined MAP sensor flange ensures proper fitment and sealing to help prevent boost leaks.
Designed for demanding driving conditions, the charge pipe features beaded pipe ends and heavy-duty T-bolt clamps to prevent separation under high boost pressure. The optional Type III Hard Black Anodized finish provides a clean OEM-style appearance while improving surface protection and resistance against dents, scratches, and wear.
The kit includes two 1/8" NPT threaded bungs with pre-installed caps, allowing compatibility with methanol injection systems, nitrous systems, or boost/vacuum reference connections. The ports can remain sealed when not in use. The charge pipe is fully compatible with the factory electronic diverter valve and includes all required installation hardware.
