The stock charge pipe is known to be fragile and prone to failure, especially under track conditions or when tuning the engine. Our upgraded charge pipe is designed to eliminate these issues while improving airflow and durability.
Unlike many aftermarket options that use a basic two-piece design with a reducing silicone hose, do88’s solution incorporates a flexible aramid-reinforced silicone hose with a 3-hump design. This allows thermal expansion and contraction without stressing the connections, preventing hose blowouts.
The charge pipe features CNC-machined 6063 aluminum hose connection ends with a 3mm wall thickness, ensuring a secure and deformation-resistant clamping surface. It also includes a larger diameter with smooth mandrel bends for better airflow, reducing pressure drop and turbulence.
