The CTEK SMARTPASS 120S is a fully automatic 120A power management solution designed to intelligently control, distribute, and maximize the energy produced by your vehicle’s alternator. Engineered for demanding 12V applications, it ensures that both starter and service batteries — as well as all connected electrical consumers — receive optimal power distribution for enhanced system reliability and battery longevity.
Capable of handling battery capacities between 28Ah and 800Ah, the SMARTPASS 120S delivers rapid charging and seamless integration with CTEK’s D250SA or D250SE onboard chargers, creating the ultimate 140A dual charging system.
Equipped with Battery Guard technology, the SMARTPASS 120S automatically prioritizes power delivery to critical equipment such as radios, navigation systems, and emergency lights, while disconnecting non-essential consumers when the voltage drops. This safeguard prevents deep discharge and ensures that essential functions always remain operational.
Additional built-in protections include over-temperature regulation, which moderates charge current during high-heat conditions, and Smart Alternator Compatibility, allowing efficient operation with modern variable-voltage alternators. The Start Assistance function can temporarily deliver up to 350A to help start your engine when needed, providing dependable support in demanding environments.
