Description
The COBB Nissan GT-R Big SF Intake System – cobb7C1150 is engineered to provide significantly increased airflow and proper MAF sensor scaling for both stock and high-power R35 GT-R builds. The factory intake system can reach the MAF sensor’s maximum measurable airflow as performance modifications increase, preventing accurate fuel calculations. The Big SF Intake solves this limitation by increasing the inner diameter of the intake tubing, reducing MAF voltage for the same volume of air and providing essential headroom for higher-power applications.
COBB has used the Big SF Intake System to support GT-R builds producing more than 600 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque at the wheels, demonstrating its ability to handle airflow demands up to 40 percent beyond stock output. In addition to performance capacity, the system enhances engine sound, delivering a sharper induction tone, more audible turbo spool, and clearer bypass valve vent noise.
Installation requires no cutting, trimming, or removal of the front bumper cover. The entire system bolts directly into place using basic hand tools. With COBB’s free Big SF Off-The-Shelf Accessport maps, the ECU is properly recalibrated for the updated MAF scaling, making the intake suitable for both stock and modified engines.
Constructed from mandrel-bent 3.0-inch aluminum tubing, reinforced silicone couplers, and pre-oiled, reusable filter elements, the Big SF Intake System provides a durable, reliable foundation for builds ranging from OEM configuration to high-power turbo upgrades.
